WW3 Forecast Comparison
The first animation pane presents the 5-day forecast from the global operational wave model. Contours show Hs and arrows show relative contribution and direction of wind sea and swell waves. Second animation pane shows the same 5-day forecast from WaveWatchIII. Contours show Hs and arrows show magnitude and direction of Hs. The third animation shows the Hs anomaly, calculated as global Hs - WW3 Hs.
