Experts from NCOF are able to provide training on metocean information usage and interpretation, as part of Contiuing Professional Development or in support of supplied services.

Courses provided have included:

• Ocean modelling elements of the Met Office College Oceanography course
• Ocean modelling for Royal Navy weather forecasting staff
• Ocean forecasting course for the International Tanker Owners Federation (ITOPF)
• Metocean forecast appreciation workshops for offshore renewables operators.
